Organ donation doesn’t just save lives… sometimes, it changes them forever
Back on June 22, 2024, We shared that our son Dylan had just undergone his second kidney transplant, a moment that came after years of challenges, countless prayers, and unwavering hope. The surgery took place on June 20, 2024, and it was nothing short of miraculous.
The transplant was a success. Dylan’s new kidney began working right away, and his recovery has been nothing less than remarkable. But what makes this story even more extraordinary is what has happened since.
Dylan and his donor, Jaclyn Aaron, have found something unexpected and beautiful beyond the gift of life, they’ve fallen in love. What began as a journey of compassion and selflessness has grown into a story of connection and shared purpose. Today, they’re living together, building a blended family, and continuing to inspire everyone who knows them.

As parents, watching this unfold has been beyond humbling. We’ve witnessed not just medical miracles, but the power of love, resilience, and community.
Our family remains deeply committed to raising awareness about kidney disease and the life-changing impact of organ donation. Dylan’s story and Jaclyn’s courage remind us that organ donation is not just about saving lives, it’s about transforming them in ways we could never imagine.
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you again to everyone who has supported, prayed for, and believed in Dylan. The story continues… and it’s a beautiful one.
